Job Shadow Experience at the Washington Park Zoo

do-zooThe Washington Park Zoo’s job shadow experience is offered to high school and college students who need to complete an assignment required by his/her school.

Before being considered for the program, the following things need to be submitted

  • a payment of $15
  • Job shadow Application form
  • Waiver
  • Letter of intent or project details from advisor, teacher, etc.

These forms are available below.

Requests must be made three weeks in advance.

Participants will be notified what arrangements have been made by phone or email.
The program takes place between 8 a.m. and noon.

Appropriate attire is important since students will be spending quite a bit of time outdoors.  The program will take place rain or shine. Tennis shoes or boots must be worn. Purses and backpacks should be left behind.
